Wedding photos Take 2...

Just got an email from our wonderful family friend, Pip, who captured over 150 photos at the wedding.  I picked out some of my faves to share with you :).

We're heading out for San Francisco tomorrow, so we hope to return home this weekend with oodles of pictures from our trip as well as have many professional wedding photos to share.

Stay tuned... :)

My handsome groom
Is Connor not the cutest best man that ever lived?!
I was good to go until Dad turned to me seconds before we had to walk out & said "You ok?!"...
I managed to hold it together by the time we reached the stairs :)

Nana did a great job of bringing goodies to keep Connor occupied and quiet!  Connor stayed content munching on animal crackers & earned himself a lollipop at the end of the ceremony :)
Christmas Card 2012 :)
 The Brew-Whits :)

 The folks :)
 My Sisters :)

Enjoying Paul's awesome speech :)

Just got a message from Danielle saying I'll get a few professional picture samples tomorrow!  God bless Danielle for making time for editing pics.  I think she's been super busy photographing ever since she flew into town + caring for 2 boys + trying to soak up as much family/friend time as possible + finding time to sleep!  She's so wonderful!

Eeeeeeeeee! Can't wait to see pics!

Wedding weekend photos Take 1...

The last four days have been full of love, excitement, exhaustion, and good times!

We've been blessed to have lots of family & friends in town to party with! :)

I was letting my amazing friend, Danielle, do all the photo taking...so I only have a select few to work with from my Father-in-law's camera & my own camera.

Here's a little sneak peek at our wedding weekend!

Oh & P.S....I'm Mrs. SEARS! :) Yahooooooooooooooooooooo!

Arriving at the hotel...

We were blessed to have Matt's Nana there to marry us.  She flew in from MA, so we tried to squeeze in a ceremony meeting before the rehearsal.

About 1 minute before the rehearsal, we opened our hotel door to head down stairs...and Connor tripped & fell into the balcony railing.  My poor little guy had a goose egg on his forehead & scratch all down the side of his face.  Great timing huh?!

Kater & Eric at the rehearsal

Craig & Nicole

Connor's shirt read "Mom's Best Man."  When anyone would ask Connor what his shirt said, he would exclaimed "Mom's a Man!" Once he got a good chuckle, he continued telling everyone over & over... What a goob! :)

We headed over to Matt's Mom's house for the rehearsal dinner.  Connor was on a mission to find the cat...

Fast forward to the evening of the wedding...

My Mom & Connor walked out together.  Can't wait to get the professional pictures back with good shots of Connor in his precious suspenders & bow tie.  He was seriously the cutest thing ever.

Let me just tell you that the cupcakes/cake pops were a hit!! I wasn't concerned about anything during the wedding, except how great the dessert was...It was awesome!

Sneaking in a minute to eat something...

The next day we pretty much stayed in the pool from about 12pm until supper time.  We were pretty pruney!

We were surrounded by great company all day at the pool!

Connor & his new cousins :)  They had a blast swimming, shooting hoops poolside, and hunting for lizards together!

Many more photos to come...
Such a great weekend!!! :)

3 days and counting...

The last few days have not been stressful at all.
Everyone at work thought I was crazy for not being stressed about my wedding!
Maybe its because after I had a child & dealt with the bologne that has been thrown my way in the past four years, coordinating a one-day-celebration seems like a tiny hurdle! :)

In the mix of wedding planning, my OCD self has been trying to perfect our house, got Halloween treats ready for Connor's classmates, sent out birthday invitations for Connor's birthday next month, and am getting items ready for our community garage sale in November.  Am I crazy to take all this on?--Absolutely!  It's really the only way I'm going to be able to leave for San Francisco next week for our honeymoon & know that I can r-e-l-a-x.

God bless Matt for knowing how I am with multiple tasks to complete (and wanting to get them all done ASAP), being there to lend a hand, and knowing when I just need time to myself.

I am sad to report that this will probably be my last blog post before the wedding...and I have no pictures of my Munchkin to share.

I have to do some Blogspot research to see how to change my blog website to "MeganSearsandFamily.blogspot.com."  I will keep all of my faithful readers (all 4 of you!) updated incase my website address changes.  I can't begin to describe how much I am looking forward to changing my name!!

The only picture I have to share today is of my latest accomplishment.  We've been working like busy beavers around the house lately to get it "pretty."  The living room is almost complete & it feels soooooo good!

It feels so amazing to personalize our house & make it feel like our home.

When I post again, I will have a new identity. :)

I'm not usually a happy cry-er, but good chance I'm going to be a blubbering crazy lady this Friday.

God has a plan! :) Aaaaaaaaaaaaaamen!

Haaaaaaappppppy...

Happy Birthday Papa (Dad)!

We love love love you!

Connor & I got creative with our cupcakes...
the best fisherman cupcakes for one of our favorite fisherman!

We had some pizza then the boys went out back to bond by the lake.
I snuck in a photo from the window.

It didn't take long before Mr. Squints was ready for dessert!

Teamwork :)

After cupcakes, we ventured out to Bass Pro to play on the elevators, check out the fish, and have Papa buy some fishing goodies.  Connor perfected his ability to differentiate a redfish from a snook in the fish tanks.  "The one with the spot on his tail is the redfish." :)

We had a great evening celebrating with Papa & Nana!
Happy birthday Dad!
Have a happy, safe fishing trip tomorrow!

Feelin' artsy

I'm off work. Connor's not in school today. We should be freeeee as a bird to do something fun...well we should be!  We have 3 different service people coming by today between the time windows of 9:00am and 4:00pm.

Since we can't linger far from home, we opted to make today a crafty day.  Connor's not usually big on crafts unless it involves painting body parts.  We took turns painting eachother's hands, managed to not paint anything else in the house, and completed a few Halloween 'art projects.'

Taaaaaaaaaah Daaaaaaaaah!

Countdown...

Just got our wedding license.  10 days & counting...

(Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!)

And yes...I made the little man at the Clerks Office desk take our picture to document this great moment. :)
