Christmas 2016

And just like that--Christmas came & Christmas went.

Here's a little recap...

Santa made a surprise visit at Uncle Pete & Aunt Jill's house.  Noah didn't care to see him any closer than 15 feet away, but was pretty content with the Playdoh and other toys Santa toted along for him.

"Winter" weather didn't blow through until January, so instead of sweet, snuggly Christmas jammie pictures of the boys by the tree this year, we opted for random shot of kids 'playing horse' shirtless by the tree, because, well, that's real life for you.

Santa came!

Noah was happiest with the random candy in his stocking.

Connor was happiest with his Lego blindbags and indoor basketball hoop upstairs in the playroom.

Even Mommy got a very exciting Christmas surprise!

As Noah grabbed all the gifts under the tree that had his name on them, he grabbed one gift & said, "This looks to be a scooter."  Matt & I just laughed.  Nothing gets by this smarty pants.

This was our first year where we stayed home all morning & it was pretty relaxing, just letting the boys play with their goodies.

Christmas never feels quite like Christmas until both of my sweet boys are under the same roof again.

Among Connor's faves were his football sticker book, Magic Treehouse books, and ride on toy for outside.  He's at an age where anything sports is exciting, yet we have almost everything already.  I was so happy to see him thrilled about all his gifts.

When we revealed his new basketball set up in the playroom, everyone was pumped!

That evening, we ventured to Nana & Papa's for more festivities.

Let's just say each child (and adult) left their house with some exciting stuff!!

Talk about the kids having some of the best grandparents ever!

While the kids played, the ladies took over the kitchen.

Even sweet Bobes got to open gifts

Bobes is always the happiest pup.

We had a wonderful Christmas day full of gifts, love, and busy, busy kids!
