Pinterest inspired...

I found another fun idea on Pinterest.com recently and decided to try it out!
Bath time can become pretty dull, so we decided to spruce it up with:
-shave cream
-food coloring
-cupcake pan
-paint brush
The finished product...
Colored shave cream to paint with in the tub!

The tub water gets a little murky by the time you're done playing, but its cheap and easy...and entertained Connor for a good half hour! :)

Easter Eggs!

What do you do when you're not feeling so well and need a new activity to do in the house...

Color Easter Eggs!

I wasn't planning on doing them so far in advance (since Easter is another 2 weeks away), but once Connor found the Sesame Street Egg Dye Kit in the pantry, there was no turning back!

Look who was super excited about the "magic" colored water!

(I snapped a few extra pictures since I can't get enough of my freshly buzz cut boy...)

What's cuter than my freshly buzz cut boy, you ask?!
Well, it is my freshly buzz cut boy in his underwear!

Since Connor was on a smile nice for the camera kick, I opted to snap a few of the two of us...greasy bedhead pony tail and all!

Connor's masterpiece eggs! (I am very proud of myself for letting go of my OCD tendencies to make things perfect and just let Connor do his thing).

I couldn't resist this last picture...
He's so precious--squishy toosh and all!

Oso & Mickey!

On this beautiful evening at Nana & Papa's, we met two feathered friends.

Connor likes to refer to them as Oso & Mickey.

I did some quick bread tearing as my duck- feeding- machine launched the pieces into the water to his new friends.

We were going through bread so quickly...when I realized we had a third duck to feed.

Meet third duck.

When we were all out of bread, we sat and said farewell to our duck friends.

Hangin' at Debbie's

Connor never has an objection when I ask him if he wants to go to Debbie's house and play! He loves playing with Sarah and Ki, and can't get enough of the pups--Emma and Lilly! After Emma lived with us for a short amount of time, he has an extra special place in his heart for her. :)

Connor enjoyed some swim time with Sarah and Emma did not miss out on the action.

If Emma wasn't in the pool, she was playing lifeguard on the sidelines. Connor thought Emma would like a good blast of water in her mouth...they made it a fun game :)

Emma is seriously the best dog ever! She obeys everything you tell her, wouldn't hurt a fly no matter how much the fly may chase her and pull her tail ;), and she is such a lover! She protects anyone that swims in the pool...if Connor splashed too hard, Emma would become very concerned and go in after him. She spent most of the pool time keeping an eye on Connor and Sarah while they swam.

Connor loves Emma!

We all had a great time hanging with the girls!

Auntie Nicole is the Best!!

Ever since we heard Auntie Nicole wanted to take Connor to the Toy Story on Ice show, Connor had Toy Story on his brain 24/7! We went on a hunt for a new Buzz shirt in preparation for the show and came home with super cool jammies instead...

Meet the cutest Buzz Lightyear!

And Woody too...

On Saturday, Connor, Auntie Nicole, precious Peyton, and her parents all loaded up & headed to the show!

Connor wasn't Mr. Smiley in his photos, but had a great time!! He has not stopped talking about it ever since! We read the Toy Story on Ice fan booklet as our bedtime story each night now and Connor insists we play with his new light up Buzz toy from the show whenever it gets dark outside!

Minus the painful looking smile, I loved his Alien hat and "Spud Muffin" shirt :)

Thank you so very much Auntie Nicole!!! Connor had a blast!!!

Who wants to swim?!

If you are willing to hop in to a 60 degree pool, Connor will definitely take you up on the offer!

Connor's recent victims--Matt's cousin, Sarah, and Connor's Papa!

**We were unprepared with a swimsuit at Debbie's house last week, but Connor had no problem sporting his Thomas the Train underwear instead.

Connor had Sarah pull him around on the chair floatie. He looked like a tiny king bossing around his servant! Sarah is so good with Connor!

This photo below is my new favorite picture of Connor and his Papa.
Boy, do I love these boys!!

Workin' at the Carwash...

I have one handy helper around the house.
My precious little man has a love for washing cars.
My car was due for a cleaning, so here's how it went...

Connor used his big hands as a sponge and 'washed' the front of my car...literally about 40 times.
He would rub bubbles on then request the hose to rinse them off. Once clean, he would repeat the process all over again. He may have actually removed a few plastered love bugs off the front :)

"HI MOM!"

My whole car is clean up to about 3 feet from the ground ;)

We had a sense of urgency to quickly fill the bucket since it was running low on "bubbles" many times, but once the bucket was all suds'd up again, my car wash attendant was back to work!

Connor is up for hire if you need your car washed. He works for "snacks" or "toys", uses about 2 bottles of car wash solution per vehicle, and will probably hike up your water bill about $50. He does great work though and looks super cute doing it!

Phone photo dump!

I was going through my phone pictures and thought it'd be fun to share current, randoms!
With no specific organization or theme, here ya go...

Photo #1: Sorry its so teeny. Matt sent this to me last week after I was having a really tough day at work. In case you don't have a magnified glass handy, the picture is of the decals on the back of Matt's Mom's car. She had grandkid decals made (a soccer one for Austin, dance one for Kaylee, and basketball one for Connor). It makes me so happy to know that Connor has been 'adopted' into such a wonderful, loving family that consider him...well...family :)

Photo #2: A classic Mom-Connor photo attempt. If ever Connor looks cute, Mom has a double chin & frazzled hair. If Mom looks half way decent, Connor has a squinty cheese face. This one obviously appears to be squinty cheese face :).

Photo #3: Classic Walmart white trash moment. To summarize...

Connor & I decided to make our grocery store run to Walmart last Monday. We stocked up on oodles, including ice cream and frozen treats at Connor's request. We get out to the car and I realize that my giant purse did not in fact swallow my keys this time...the keys were staring us in the face as they were locked in my car in the front seat. Mom was sent into slight panic mode. I called Matt who happened to be down the street at Target and he was able to come by within 10 minutes to save my groceries from the heat. He could not save the sweet 3 year old, because the car seat was locked in my car. I called Dad who was at the office and he got the dreaded first words on the phone..."Hey Dad. You have AAA right?!"

Dad came to my rescue about an hour later since he was at his office in Ft Myers. In the mean time, Connor and I took a stroll through Walmart to use the potty, then sat outside near the car playing with Lightning McQueen and Mater along the cart return siderails and curb. We got quite a few looks as Connor and I just sat in the parking lot and played...

Dad aka Papa arrived and he noted that AAA would be another half hour or so. None of us had eaten lunch yet, so we walked next door & put in an order for a pizza. Once the pizza was ready, we camped out in Papa's trunk and waited for Mr. AAA. Everyone was in good spirits (thank goodness Connor was chipper) and we enjoyed our lunch while AAA man unlocked my car. What an adventure!

Photo #4: I have finally jumped on the Pinterest.com bandwagon. It is SO addicting and I am in love with it! My current favorite category to look up is "Toddler crafts." Connor is really getting into painting, so he is often requesting "a new art project." Here are a few of his current creations...

His hands and feet are so big, that we have to use extra large construction paper. My baby...the giant :)

Basketball Champs!

Connor made it through his first sport season!

Although I'm not quite sure he's going to be the next Michael Jordan, he was one of the cutest munchkins on the court! Connor's favorite parts of the game were when he had the ball, snack time after the game, and when he could sneak over to say hi to baby Landon (Ryder's little brother)!

He was blessed with the most amazing coach! Coach Matt seriously had the patience equivalent to a Mother of ten 3 year olds! I can not imagine!!!!

After the final game yesterday, Coach awarded each team member with a metal. Connor came up to me after he got his metal and said "I won, Mom!!!"

Each week we had a different amount of players on the team, but these were the most consistent team mates! :)

*Sidenote: The little boy on the floor is Jack. I got talking to his Mom at one of our practices and it turns out Connor and Jack are only a day apart in age. Jack is on the teeny end of the spectrum while Connor is on the massive end of the spectrum. To put into perspective on how much their sizes are different, Jack wears a size 3 diaper. Connor graduated from size 6 diapers and is now in size 5T underwear! Funny to compare their sizes :)

I adore good pictures of Connor and I together. The secret to getting a 3 year old boy to smile for the camera...

Just whisper gross boy words like "poop" and "stinky toots" and they giggle every time!

My basketball star! :)

For your viewing pleasure, here's a little clip of the cuteness that is 3-4 year old basketball!

Connor's first basketball season will remain in my memory as Buzz light up sneakers, an oversized red shirt with his number "Zero", and big cheers of "I did it" after each successful shot! :)

Girls...girls...girls

Connor is one lucky guy!

He's made some sweet little girlfriends (his favorite to smother with hugs is "his Stella"...*blonde little lady with pigtails).

Nana even reported to me that she heard Connor tell Stella he loved her!

They are the cutest together :)

Fresh air!

Today was exactly what we needed!

Fresh air...

Giggles from three 3 year olds...

and a beautiful day at the beach!

Connor, Ryder & Sophia were quite the group!

(Its pretty hard to get 3 kids to stand still and look at the camera!)

There's something boys thoroughly enjoy about blasting others with water!

There were a few babies crawling around in the background as well!

Although it may be a lot of work keeping an eye on so many wiggle worms, it was very refreshing to have a little Mom time to talk as well as enjoy the kiddies as they poop eachother out for one great nap time! Hope to do it again soon!

Cherish these moments

I put the house chores aside (the 12 loads of laundry, cleaning, dishes, etc)

and packed up my favorite person for an uninterrupted Mom-Son afternoon.

We enjoyed some wave jumping, sand tunnel building, and Cheeto eating at the beach together.

And we smiled the entire time.

I am one lucky Mom.
