While you were sleeping...

While Connor was napping, I got to spend some time with some beautiful girls~ my friend, Olivia, & her precious little one, Leila! Although I was hoping to see how Connor interacted with Leila, we were able to enjoy some uninterrupted conversation together (and I got to hold her!). Olivia is a fellow Super Mom! After a long last few months of hospital stays & medications for the little angel, it was so nice to finally meet little Miss Leila in person! She is such a doll & she is extremely blessed to have such a strong, amazing Mom :).

*She was SUCH a good baby. Just hung out, slept most of the time, and was so quiet! Even though she was considered to be a 'good size' at birth, she's still so dainty and tiny! Loved her tiny little hands & feet! She's such a doll!

Once the ladies headed out, Mr. Connor decided to wake up happy & refreshed. (*This photo makes me laugh---I laid out Cooper's dog bed in the living room to keep him off our new sofa. Coop still manages to sneak on the sofa & Connor has decided to make Coop's bed his new area to lay!)

Hide & seek chuckles!

Turn up your volume & enjoy some happy chuckles!

...this boy makes me smile!

The cutest little cowboy on his way to his first Music Class with Nana

Our new car routine: 1. Get in 2. Put on shades 3. Smile 4....Then remove shades to chew on them!

I was in the drive-thru at McDonald's (Yes...I have found that going thru the drive-thru to get food THEN going in to eat/playground after to avoid toddler meltdown in line inside!)...This picture was of Connor who decided to just randomly bust out laughing at my singing. Apparently my singing is humorous to him! :)

God Bless the Creator of Water Parks!

So it was like any other trip to the park....

The swings (in a rather weird seat, but he didn't seem to mind!)...

A nice stroller walk...

The playground...

And...
THE WATER PARK!

Connor was beside himself! He thought he had died & gone to Heaven!

He didn't know what to do at first. It was almost as if he thought he'd get in trouble if he played in the water. He thought it was too good to be true! When he figured out it was actually okay, he started trotting around the water fountains as if he owned the place! We will definitely be doing this again soon! :)

OshKosh kid!

Busy day for my little OshKosh kid!

Trip to Jaycee Park in the mornin

...which was a mental note to Mom to hold out on parks with sand until Connor is a little older...

After fun play time, rock throwing into the water, and mulch collecting, we were on our way to our next destination.

Outlet shops with Mom & Nana---Gotta love us some Carter's Outlet :) We got some new footie jammies since Connor is getting rather tall for his 18 month jammies. They look freakishly long, but should fit pretty soon!

Connor was taking a 'freedom' break from his stroller to get some energy out before we loaded up in the car for our next stop. Nothing more fun than hide & seek with his favorite Nana!

After supper (where Nana & I both ordered baked potatoes as our sides at Wendy's to share with Connor....who decided he DID NOT like baked potatoes anyway...), we enjoyed the playground at Four Freedoms Park!

After his playtime, we took a stroll across the street to get some ice cream. It was a good 15 minute wait in line with a child that wanted his ice cream NOW! We came close to aborting our plan, but hung in there! After a wait that felt like an eternity, we devoured some yummy ice cream!

Mmmmm

The rough life of a toddler.... :)

One...funny...kid...

Frog tongue at lunch

Mr. Smarty Pants knows how to open the pantry & find his food. He'll actually grab what he wants & bring it to me to open it! This child is never full, so he does this 'trick' quite a bit! Finally got smart & moved his 'food' up higher. He was not too crazy about that...

Hide & Seek!!

Connor & his Nana are the BEST of friends! We can't go a night without hide & seek, if Nana is here! Connor just starts by running in the laundry room & closing the door--giving Nana the hint to go hide! He is so funny and I love to see how his little mind works. His shrieks of screams/giggles when Nana pops out of her hiding spot are HILARIOUS!! Caught a few pictures of him in action (and a funny video as well).

Whhhhhhhhhhhhhere's Nana?!?!?!?!?

There she is!!!

Those two are a pair! The giggles that fill the house from their peek-a-boo shananigans are indescribable! :)

Lakes Park!

Thank goodness for beautiful weather! Connor & I decided to try out Lakes Park for the first time. It was WAY more exciting than I remember when I was a kid. Playgrounds, Kiddy Water Fountains, bounce houses, inflatable slides, four-seater bike rentals, paddle boat rentals, train rides....you name it, they had it! Once I let Connor loose, what exciting area did he choose to play in first???!!!

.....The trees, rocks & mulch.... :)

He's easy to please!

We had a lot of fun! I wanted to tackle the Kiddy Water Fountains, but the chilly breeze kept us from trying them out. Hopefully next weekend the weather will cooperate! Can't wait!!

Pine Island adventure!

With just a short drive from the house, Connor was able to discover a world of endless land, oodles of rocks, dirt & trees, an array of animals, and one amazing family! We visited my bestest's house on Pine Island this past weekend & had a blast! Despite the rather soggy conditions after our lovely rain showers last Friday, we were still able to venture out in the yard! Connor got to trek through the rocks, sift through the mud, climb a tree, see the birds, cat & dog, hang with his Godparents-By-The-Sea (odd story to go along with that title), and the Kazors! We had such a great time & would love to do it again soon! We missed out on the chickens, pregnant cat, ducks, fish in the pond, donkeys, and goats! Hopefully next time!

*Zoom in on the hand covered in 'gookies'...no boy is complete without dirt!

Tree climbing....and a desperate attempt at a cute picture....

Sooooooo big...

An example of what Mothers do!--The drain would not hold about 2 minutes into Connor's bath, so I decided to manually press it down to allow Connor to get the most out of his bath time!

"Praise Baby" time with Godmother-by-the-Sea, Rach!

Not a quitter...

Connor is not a quitter. He's actually the complete opposite! This determined little guy was introduced to the art of throwing rocks into the water by his dear Uncle Craig. Since that discovery, any body of water in Connor's path must be accompanied by rocks----many, many, many rocks! Connor's latest findings---the drain in the front yard. This busy-busy-bee buzzed from the planters in the front yard, down the hill, and to the drain one rock at a time! He does not quit....well....Mommy makes him quit eventually. He certainly doesn't quit without a full blown tantrum though! :)

Where's Mommy's belly button????

THERE IT IS!!!

Love this boy....
