I get SO excited to get our updated family photos, but, man, am I glad I am behind the camera WAY more than in front of it! The amount of thought that has to go into clothes, shoes, haircuts, hairdo, coordinating colors without being matchy, sucking it in, stretching neck to avoid double chin laugh faces, making sure the kids are real smiling and not fake smiling....holy schmoly!
But we are done with 2018 photos! Phew! Kids were great--no whining at all. It's amazing what a little candy bribery will do when needed. And Matt always does a good job of not complaining--I think he knows how much the once-a-year-family-photos mean to this mama, so he behaves! :)
