Grandma Beach Memorial Weekend

With so many photos to share and a toddler that's been asleep for a good 2 hours (and should be waking at any moment), I'll spare you the lengthy description of our 4 day weekend getaway to Bokeelia. The oodles of pictures should illustrate it all just as well. Enjoy!

When Mommy arrived on Thursday after work, Connor had already become acquainted with the pool. The condo has community pools toys that Connor LOVED to toss one-by-one into the pool. The adults had more fun with the giant water pistols!

Uncle Pete enjoyed blasting Connor with his squirt gun! Connor didn't seem to mind one bit!


"Who left this guy in charge?! What were you thinking, Mom?!"


"Whatcha drinkin?!"


Connor is glued to his Papa! SERIOUSLY! Anytime Papa would walk away, go into another room, or go anywhere without Connor by his side, Connor was bound to have an emotional breakdown! This little boy adores his Papa!


A sunset bike ride down to the end of Bokeelia--it was gorgeous!


Nana sharing her famous jello cake with one happy little guy! She could not feed him fast enough! Nana always has the best goodies!

The last time we were on Papa's boat, Connor was about 3 months old! A new, bigger lifejacket and over one year later...and he still loves it!

Uncle Craig is here to play! I can't wait 'til Connor is big enough to fish. Between Uncle Craig & Papa, there's a good chance we'll have a mini Captain on our hands!

After a long weekend of fun, my little guy finally ran out of steam!!!

After waking fussy, he crashed seconds later in the living room for another few hours...Cuddled up with his banana, of course!

We had a wonderful trip! Mom neared break down on a few occasions, but we survived the trip! We'll consider it a success! Happy Grandma Beach Memorial Weekend! Can't wait to do it again next year!
