Phone photos

So I'm a picture addict.

I know...it's no surprise...

I just can't help it. If I don't have my camera, I feel naked. If I don't have my camera, I have my phone camera. Not the best quality, but it's surely better than nothing. I've been collecting quite a few pictures that are usually sent via text message to my folks or Matt, but I've never really shared with everyone else.

Here ya go :)

Connor's finished "Big boy" room. I love it :) and I would seriously customize a wall decal for every room if I could. I love the way they look!

The time of day I cherish the most is nap time :). I will be sad the day Connor says farewell to naps. On days that I work early, I love love love to come home and crash with Connor for a few hours. With Connor's big boy bed (without those ever-so-lovely crib rails to keep him contained) makes nap time and bed time hard to do with a boy that can escape his bed & would fight sleep all day long if he could. I've found myself doing what I never thought I'd find myself doing...I have to lie in bed with him for naps & bed time until he falls asleep. It's going to be a FUN challenge breaking this lovely habit we've created, but for now...it's working for us. We all get sleep. Life is good. :)

I could cuddle with my sleeping boy for ever!

Here's Mr. St. Patty's Day at Arizona Pizza. Connor's been doing great in restaurants these days. He sits still longer and is somewhat patient for a 2 year old. Matt & I made the mistake of telling Connor while we were in the car on the way to the restaurant that we were going to Arizona Pizza. From that point forward, Connor had pizza on his brain.

"Peeeza! Peeeeeza!"

To make matters worse, every table around us was being served pizza. Every table but OURS! Mr. somewhat patient became extremely impatient!! Mommy and Connor decided to take a walk until our food came to avoid any giant meltdowns. I do have to admit that I came really close to buying a piece of pizza off of the family to the left of our table just to regain my sanity!!! No worries...a good walk did the trick until our "PEEEEZZA" came!

After supper, Connor wanted to model Mr. Tony's hat.

After a fun excursion to Toysrus this week, we've found ourselves a new water toy for the backyard. Meet Mr. Turtle. He shoots high. He shoots low. He waters Mommy's yard while entertaining the child. He's wonderful!

Connor loved to stand there and catch the water in his mouth, then walk over to me to stare me in the eye, say "Mmmm....", smile, then say "Tastey!" Funny kid.

A few weeks ago we decided to take an evening stroll to help pass the time after nap and before supper. Connor thought it would be best to include his Monkey, Mickey, and his orange (yes....orange....). He was cute as can be trying to walk with his hands full. I offered to help, but he insisted on carrying them all himself!

So we haven't started potty training quite yet. We've reached the point of communication by words (Praise God, thank you Jesus!) which is the first step. Connor will now go poops then come to me, point to his diaper, and say "poo poo". I try to explain that we need to use the potty when we have to go to the bathroom.

This past week, my smart child took a different approach to potty training.

Mommy explains: "Your poo goes in the potty, not in your diaper."

Connor responds by running into the bathroom where he thought he was obeying my command...

And this is what I found...

My precious boy put his Pooh in the potty! :)
This potty training stuff is gonna be a BREEZE ;) HA!

To complete this post, I thought I would include a short little video clip of my funny man. He finds the tiniest things funny. We've been practicing his letters on his Leapfrog computer lately and he has found that the letter "Y" with the animal "Yak" is beyond hilarious. Watch and enjoy :)
