Another month has gone by....9 months already....9 MONTHS! Nine months ago Connor was born...and nine months before that he was a tiny bean. Definitely NOT a tiny bean now. We just got back from the Dr. this morning for his check-up and he is 23 lbs, 11 oz (88th percentile), 29 7/8 inches (85th percentile), and head size is in the 91st percentile : ). He is doing great and Dr. even said he was a 'model child' for his age. Love to hear that as a mother! She took a peek in his mouth to note that his top two teeth should be coming through any day now. I'm just getting used to seeing him with 2 bottom teeth...can't imagine another few teeth already!
At this age, Connor's loves are:
-Dora (of course)
- Coopy's toys (Connor could have 100 toys out and Coop could leave one toy around and no doubt that every time Connor bee-lines it straight for Coop's toy!)
- Silk palm tree in living room....loves to climb up, reach in the pot, and pull out the stuffing. Can't wait to see how he does with a Christmas tree this December...
-Spit bubbles all the time, anytime, even on cue when you hold his monkey toy up in front of him!
-to bite Mom (on the shoulder, collarbone...I have the vampire marks to prove it)
-to talk into his toys and hear his echo (usually does this with his cup toys in the bathtub
-TOILET PAPER!!....every roll in the house is up on the counter to avoid Mr. Trouble from eating it.
-Frozen teething rings when we go for walks...loves to stay cool while we are in the 1000 degree weather outside.
-to roll on the bed...plop Connor on a bed and he will lay there, roll, talk, roll, crawl....he loves it!
-to torture Coopy....he loves to yank his hair, grab his face, steal his toys from him....the madder Cooper gets, the funnier Connor thinks it is. Coop will growl and Connor just laughs--gotta keep an eye on those two!
-Being outside (been like that since birth....in the heat, rain, humidity....all he wants to do is be outside).
Could go on forever, as I love talking about my little munchkin head. He is up from his nap, so Mommy's time is up for now! Happy 9 months little man!
